Box Office: Cowboys & Aliens Beaten by The Smurfs?

The final results are not in yet, but Cowboys & Aliens may have fallen just short of The Smurfs in its Box Office debut this past weekend. Both movies currently have an estimated tally of $36.2 million, but C & A had a lower per theater average which will probably put that film in second place when the final numbers come in (currently the two are tied).
