FOX Sets Finale Date for Terra Nova

FOX's Steven Spielberg produced time travel/dinosaur epic will conclude its first season right before Christmas on Monday December 19th.  And that finale will be in the form of a two-hour episode.  The first season of Terra Nova was capped by FOX at thirteen episodes (ruling out an option of a back nine eps) because of the cost of the production.  Whether the show will return for a second season next year depends on its ratings performance between now and then.  It has thus far delivered decent, but not spectacular numbers, and probably underwhelming for FOX considering the cost of the show.  You can keep track of the show's cancellation prospects with the Axiom's Edge Cancellation Watch column.
