Box Office: Another Slow Weekend for Genre Films

No new genre films opened this past weekend and most of the entries already in the theater performed moderately perhaps with the except of Shrek spin-off Puss in Boots. That one remained in the Number 1 slot from its debut last weekend and only dropped off slightly from its opening tally pulling in $33 million in receipts. In Time slipped a bit further down the charts in its second weekend, dropping to Number 5 and pulling a $7.7 million tally. You can read more about the weekend Box Office results at this link.
