Another weekend with no new genre releases, but after three weeks in a row at the top The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 slipped to the Number 3 slot, beat out by non-genre films New Year's Eve and The Sitter. This coming weekend brings the releases of Mission: Impossible 4 and Sherlock Holmes 2, so expect a furious battle between those two for the top spot next. The PLANET OF THE APES franchise gets the origin treatment in this 20th Century Fox production from director Rupert Wyatt (THE ESCAPIST). The script, written by Amanda Silver and Rick Jaffa, concerns a group of American scientists whose genetic experiments lead to an uprising by a race of intelligent apes that they helped create. James Franco stars, with Freida Pinto and John Lithgow heading up the rest of the cast.

Fright Night (Two-Disc Blu-ray/DVD Combo)

Description: Senior Charley Brewster (Anton Yelchin) finally has it all-he's running with the popular crowd and dating the hottest girl in high school. Hollywood Reporter: FOX Gives Premiere Dates for Alcatraz and Touch - Touch will have a preview on January 25th at 9 PM EST then continue in its scheduled Monday 9 PM timeslot beginning March 10th. Alcatraz will have a two-hour premiere January 16th at 8 PM EST then take up its scheduled Monday 9 PM timeslot the following week
